Hi there,

I am trying out linaro (just got the boards) and I am having troubles understanding how to use snapshots. I follow the following manual:

https://wiki.linaro.org/Boards/MX53QuickStart

where it says:

The releases of hardware pack for i.MX53 Quick Start board can be obtained from:

http://snapshots.linaro.org/11.05-daily/linaro-hwpacks/lt-mx5

But is is all empty. Every folder I open it has nothing inside. Is it actually possible to access the snapshot with a browser ? What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks in advance, Marcin

the "latest" is currently empty. I'm not sure if this is a bug or because there wasn't a hwpack built for it last night. However, here's a link to the actual "latest":

Those directions are out of date. The link you now need for a hardware pack is:

http://snapshots.linaro.org/oneiric/lt-mx5-oneiric/

You have to then pick which type of root filesystem you want:

http://snapshots.linaro.org/oneiric/linaro-o-nano/
http://snapshots.linaro.org/oneiric/linaro-o-alip/
http://snapshots.linaro.org/oneiric/linaro-o-ubuntu-desktop/

We also have pre-built images you can simply "dd" to your SD card:

http://releases.linaro.org/images/12.01/oneiric/

You might also consider using the release images. The latest for the MX53 QuickStart board is http://releases.linaro.org/12.01/ubuntu/leb-imx53/. Those are the monthly releases and usually have been tested a bit more than the daily releases. Instructions for using pre-built images and building your own can also be found on that page.
